Memorials can be manufactured in varying styles from a number of materials. Today the preferred material is granite which stands the test of time. We can also create a memorial for your loved one from other natural materials such as Carrara or Takaka marble and some other New Zealand stones that meet our local cemetery bylaws.

You may have a memorial that has deteriorated over time, or been vandalised. We offer a full restoration and cleaning service which can rejuvenate existing stonework, restoring the memorial.

Our services also extend to the restoration of inscriptions that may have become faded over time. We are able to fully clean and remove any moss, mould and residue, we can also restore the colour and artwork, and return it to its original splendour.

Artisan Memorials is one of only a select few specialists in New Zealand who can repair and restore lead lettering – a type of lettering that is mainly used in older memorials.

Far from home? – we offer an international restoration and cleaning service including before and after photos of a loved one’s memorial. We can also arrange flowers or other tributes to adorn it for the photo. This is a wonderful way to prepare the memorial for a significant anniversary or family reunion.
